Industry Feedback

The Irish Learning Alliance is a group of learning solutions providers working together to provide the most comprehensive solutions for their customers. Their communication, via CEO Forums, allows them to stay on top of industry trends and technology. The financial support of Enterprise Ireland, as well as their own investments, allows ILA to focus on research and development and provide state-of-the-art services to the industry.

John R. Taggart, Executive Vice President/Group Publisher, Chief Learning Officer magazine

ILA Research Feedback

I found the ILA ELITE presentation to be extremely valuable and informed my thinking about issues related to the future of learning, and appreciated a greater understanding of Enterprise Ireland. It validated our current business strategies and mindset. We definitely want to find ways of working more closely with EI, ILA ELITE, and selected Irish companies.

Bill Bruck, Principal, Q2 Learning

The top ten features identified by the ILA ELITE project could and should be used as a measuring stick for where we are, and lead us into discussions on where we want to be in the next five years by exploiting these features.

Bob Rock, Manager, Learning & Development, KBR

Irish Learning/Technology Showcase Feedback

The Irish Technology Showcase was the most effective meeting with a group of vendors that I have attended anywhere in the world! Even though there were numerous vendors representing different aspects of e-learning, the event was planned, scheduled and executed in an outstanding manner. Sharon's initiative to prepare us for the sessions and providing us with appropriate information so that we had a "view" into what would go on "in the room" during the week helped make the experience a very valuable one. I highly recommend this event to anyone who has a global e-learning strategy.

Sanjeeb Samanta, Texas Instruments

Irish Technology Showcase (ITS) 2006 was a great way for me to get a real good taste of the capabilities of the Irish eLearning industry not only in a global sense but across all types of corporations.

Randy Flax, Thomson Financial

I believe that the Irish Learning Showcase (ILS) was a great business experience in that it provided an open, cross-functional forum to meet with peers and with potential business partners and vendors. More importantly, the event really highlighted Ireland's strong commitment in providing emerging, or established, companies with a point of reference within the blended learning environment. As a result of this event I look to establish business relationships with some of the Irish firms represented and will continue to further investigate the possibility of establishing an satellite office in Ireland.
